My Nail Polish Collection

Hello Ladies,

Some of you might have noticed that I never have any nail polish posts. The reason for that is because I get my nails done every 3 weeks with gel, and the only time I use nail polish is to paint my toe nails. I'm sure most of you will prefer not see photos of my feet lol, so as a result I choose not to do any nail polish posts.

However, that doesn't mean I don't have any :) My collection is by any means as large as some I've seen, but it slowly but surely increases. This is how it looks right now. I've realized that I'm missing about 5 polishes, but I can't find them anywhere :( I'll add them as soon as I locate them.

- Sally Hansen Instan-Dri Fast Dry Nial Color in 20 Pronto Purple - I love the big brushes, they make it so much easier to apply.

- CoverGirl Boundless Color Nail Polish in 555 Luxe Lilac - I think this is one of the first polishes I got. I always seem to go for 'safe' light colors as my first, since I'm so TERRIBLE at applying nail polish.

- Eyeko Lilac Polish - got it as free with purchase. I have to admit that I haven't used it yet.......

- Eyeko Rain Polish for City Nails - free with purchase too. I actually really like the color, but I'm not too impressed with how it just peels off. Maybe it has something to do with the undercoat I'm applying?

- Barry M Nail Paint in 294 Cyan Blue - it is a lot darker on the nail than it appears in the bottle.

- Barry M Nail Paint in 309 Strawberry I/C - pretty pink :)

- Barry M Nail Effects in Black & White - I love crackle nail polishes! I'll be getting myself the rest of the colors too :)

These are my most recent purchases.

- Wet n Wild Fastdry Nail Color in 229C Ebony Hates Chris - I just love the name.

- Wet n Wild Fastry Nail Color in 238C Party of Five Glitters - it was instant love. I'm wearing it right now over the next polish and it looks oh so sparkly!

- Wet n Wild Fastry Nail Color in 234C Hannah Pinktana - you can go subtle with this one, or build it up (at least 4 coats) for a color as intense as in the bottle. I'm wearing it right now actually with sparkles on top lol.

- Wet n Wild Fastry Nail Color in 235C Blue Wants to Be a Millionaire - I probably should mention that these polishes do dry very fast, which is very important for me. I HATE waiting around for polish to dry!!

As you can see, my collection is rather small. I barely have over 20 (counting the ones I can't find, IF I ever find them that is). And without realizing, I somehow ended up with whole bunch of purple shades! Me, who loves red, red and more red! I didn't even notice till I put them all together. Guess I need to go shopping for different colors.

So how big is your collection? Do you event want to admit it lol? :)

First Every Blog Sale!

Hello Everyone,

I've been thinking about having a blog sale for a while now because I have a lot of stuff that are unloved and unused. And a lot of those stuff are even brand new! So instead of these poor items sitting in my drawer, I'd rather them go to someone who'll give it all the love they deserve.

Rules:

- UK only.
- Paypal is the only payment method accepted ( Please send the payment as 'gift', I think I will not be charged fees that way).
- In the comments, request the item you want along with your paypal address. I will then send you an invoice/payment request.
- Please pay within 24 hours, or item will be put up back for sale.
- UK shipping will £2 for the first item (unless otherwise noted), and an extra 50p for every subsequent item. Items will be posted second class.
- Buyer is responsible for all disinfecting/sanitizing.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

THREE Month Worth of Empties

Yup, you read it right! THREE MONTH worth of empties! I barely had any in March, then a lot in April, and now it's the end of May, but since I wasn't blogging for the past 2 month I have quite a stash going.

1. TRESemme Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo (2) - love this stuff, it's a real life savior.

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush and Diva - Blush is my favorite and I will buy and buy again. Both TRESemme and Batiste work the same for me, but Batiste is about half the price of TRESemme. Guess which one I'll buy again lol?

3. Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner (2) - my go to toner, 'nuff said.

4. Almay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Pads - they used to be my go to eye makeup remover pads, now I like to try new stuff. But I will always come back to them, although I prefer oily ones (bought oil-free by mistake lol).

5.  GOSH Velvet Touch Foundation Primer - love this stuff. I will stock up on it before I leave UK.

6. Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in Ivory - it looks like there is a little left, but no matter how much I try I can't get it out. So I consider it finished lol. So far this is my favorite foundation, I will stock up next time I'm makeup shopping. :)

7. Ukrainian  Lipbalm "Tender" with jojoba oil and vitamin E - one of the best I used. I wish I had an easy access to Ukrainian stuff, because as of right now I have to wait till I go visit again :( And my friend will have problems mailing those to me because of stupid people at Ukrainian post offices that don't read rules and just refuse to mail stuff.

8. Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream - well it promises to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles and it does none of it. My main concern is fine lines under my eyes, which drive me crazy and I was hoping this would help reduce them at least a little? Tiny bit? But it did nothing. It still hydrated my skin, and didn't irritate (but nothing irritates my skin) so I MIGHT buy it again. Or I could try another eye cream from Simple line that doesn't promise to reduce wrinkles, so I won't be disappointed.

9. Simple Radiance Brightening Eye Make-Up Remover Pads - review coming soon, I just need to buy a new package so I could photograph it (shame on me). But I can say I love it, with very minor cons.

10. Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Smoother Skin Retexturizing Primer - I reviewed it before. I simply love the packaging, so I'm going to keep it for something else.

11. TRESemme Healthy Volume Shampoo & Conditioner - I used it, and used it, and used it some more for several month but finally I had to say enough. Even if they are almost half full still, I couldn't keep using them. They are CRAP!! My hair was always so tangled that it felt like I didn't brush it for several days. Other than that, I guess they did a decent job of cleaning my hair, but tangled hair is a big pet peeve of mine so because of that I will never ever buy them again. So even if they are not technically empty, they will be hitting a trash can right after I'm done writing this post.

12.  Softsoap Juicy Pomegranate & Mango Infusions Moisturizing Body Wash - this is the stuff that I keep coming back to whenever I can't decided which body wash to get. Since all of them do the same job on me, I go by smell as the deciding factor and this smells simply divine! I will always buy it!

13. Spa Paradisa Revive Your Skin Watermelon & Pink Grapefruit Shower Wash - it smelled great so I got it. :)

14. The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Body Scrub - it smelled divine, so I was very happy when I picked it up half off after Christmas. Not so much after I actually used it. It felt like spreading a non-seedless jelly over your body, except that I think real jelly would exfoliate better. It did nothing! I didn't see or feel any improvement in my skin. I will never buy it again, no matter how nice it smells!

What did you use up in May? (or April & March ;P) Let me know in the comments below, I love reading these kinds of posts.

I'm back! ..... I think....

Hello Ladies,

I'm sorry for my long absence. I could give you a million excuses, but let's just say I got burned out on everything in general, especially on kimono and people and that made me want to stay as far away from blogging as possible. You can read my rant on my other blog if you're interested.

But now I'm back, although in the next few weeks I will be starting school back up again and I will not post as often as I would like to. Yes, I finally decided to give in and get an online degree even if I HATE ONLINE CLASSES WITH PASSION. But it's either that, or no degree and I don't want my lots years of school going to waste. So I will get me a degree! Double major actually. And I'll be taking Japanese history and Women in Visual Art class, two areas that I'm interested in, so I'm a little excited. Hope the classes will actually be fun, even if they are online.

Tomorrow I will be back with 50 followers giveaway and a blog sale. I realized that I have a lot of stuff that are unused and unloved, and instead of staying in my drawers and taking up space they should go to someone who will give them some love.
