Hello Ladies,
I've been wearing L'Oreal Project Runway Charming Cockatoo's Pout lipstick pretty often lately, and today I have another look for you with it. You can see the first two looks here and here.
I wanted to do something simple with the eyes, so I've used Gosh Long Lasting Eyeliner Pen in Brown with Wet n Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Turquoise as an accent. I've actually did a tutorial on how to get the look, it is pretty easy but makes the eyeliner so much more fun. :)
I am still so in love with this shade of the lipstick. It is gorgeous and so much more wearable than I thought when I first saw it.
I love it so much that I've included it in my 1 Year Blogging Giveaway, so if you like the shade, head over there and enter. :)
Do you have any lipsticks that you just love to wear in the winter?

My very First NOTD with Wet n Wild Craze Rustic
Hello Everyone,
You might or might not have noticed that I've never ever EVER do any NOTD posts. The reason for that is very simple, I am extremely, to the point of hiding, self conscious of my nails. I've been a nail biter for years, starting with kindergarten, and I remember teachers and kids calling me out on it and making fun of me. This whole thing continued way into high school when I briefly stopped for a year or two, but then I started dating one total dufus and nail biting came right back (and that's when I figured out it must have been stress related). Fast forward several years, I broke up with him and stopped biting my nails again unless I'm under severe stress. Now I have to REALLY watch myself, making sure I have no broken nails or snags or ANYTHING that would make me want to pick and bite. I carry a whole arsenal of nail files in my purse so that if something happens, I can quickly file my nail and trick myself in to NOT biting. Let me tell you, school work overload is not good for my nails. :(
Another reason why I'm so selfconcious about them is because I naturally have small hands, with short fingers, with short nails. Well I sure can't help it there and I could blame genetics, but what would that do? So instead I'm slowly starting to accept my nails for what they are, short and square :) And finally the third reason is because I'm TERRIBLE at applying nail polish! I always get those annoying bubbles, and I think I know why they are there (because I apply too much polish, but I haven't mastered the art yet). It's ok though, I've been using nail polish off and on for couple of month and I'm getting better with the application process. There is still hope for me yet! :)
Anyways, here is my very first NOTD with WetNWild Craze nail polish in Rustic!
Usually our base store is behind on everything and anything, and not surprisingly they didn't even have a display for these. I found this polish randomly out of place among other Wet n Wild polishes and made sure to grab it. I think in US you can get these from Walgreens and whichever other places sell Wet n Wild, but unfortunately I don't even know if this particular range is still available.
I love this shade! It definitely lives up to its name, except better because it has sparkles! :) This is how it looks after 3 days of wear, without top coat (I choose not to apply top coat, because all I have take too long to dry and I haven't gotten around to getting the good one yet). As you can see, there are no chips and the color is gorgeous!
My only complaint is the bottle. While I think it is so stinking cute, the brush is just too short and it makes it hard to apply. I much prefer Wet n Wild less cuter, but more user friendly FastDry polishes. Even so, if I had access to these I would buy more in a heartbeat!
What do you think? If you're in US, have you tried any of these?

Wet N Wild Summer Contest Honorable Mention
Hello my Funky Readers,
In the past two weeks my online classes were kicking my real life behind, so I had not had much time OR motivation to post anything, plus my usual monthly 'depression' came about right around last week so I definitely didn't want to post anything. Until today, when I got a DM message on twitter from Wet n Wild saying that I got their honorable mention! I think my bad mood took a hint and disappeared and this week I will be able to post as usual! :)
Yup, that would be me right there in the top left corner :) And this is the Look I've submitted to them back I don't even remember when. Lets just say I completely forgot about the contest until I've heard from them today.
Before anyone asks, this contest was open only to US residents. It's no secret that I live in UK now, but as US military stationed in UK, I am still considered to be a US resident, so I didn't cheat or break any rules by entering.
Well it's time to go back tomuch dreaded pain in the butt schoolwork again. :(

Recap of 7 Day Palette with I'm Getting Sunburned
Hello my Funky Readers,
Today I got the greatest thought, and that is to recap the 7 Days Palette looks! Some people like to do use a particular palette for 7 days, and then put all the looks up in the same post but as you all know I'm physically incapable of doing that. Instead I like to show you a separate look in each post. But then who would bother looking through lots of posts just to find that particular look? Not me, that's for sure! So having a summary post linking to more detailed posts would solve the problem right?
Well here it is, I'm Getting Sunburned by Wet n Wild summary of all 7 looks.
Look 1 - I actually followed the instructions, meaning I used the shades the way they were intended to be used!
Look 2 - I'm going into more Lyuba-esque style. :)
Look 3 - the same as Look 2, except used pink instead of gold and made the shape more to my liking. Note just how different brow looks depending if it's combined with pink or gold.
Look 4 - Failed FOTD.
Look 5 - My husband called me clown on this one. LOL.
Look 6 - Trying out the same type of look as in 2 and 3, but will all shades now.
Look 7 - this one is Look 3 in reverse, with my favorite way to line my lower lash line as in Look 4. It's an interesting effect and definitely more dramatic than my 'usual' stuff.
It's amazing how many combinations you can come up with only having 3 shades to play with! I could probably go on and on creating different looks, but I got tired of I'm Getting Sunburned at this point. Next one on my 7 Day Palette list is Sleek's newest eye shadow palette Curacao, and I will start with the first look on Monday (I'm not sure I can keep it to 7 looks only though....).
Show me your 7 Days Palette looks if you're doing that challenge yourself. Or maybe you are doing a different challenge, like looks inspired by Disney characters....? (Yup, Ruthy looking right at ya!)

Last One for I'm Getting Sunburned
Hello Funky Readers,
I'm glad that this is the last one, because honestly I'm getting tired of I'm Getting Sunburned. Oh I still love it, but I'm ready for something new!
This time, instead of applying dark shade on the outside I applied it inside. I must say, it came out... interesting. Maybe I took it too close to the bridge of my nose, or maybe I'm just too critical of myself.
Sorry.... NOT about a lot of photos. :)
I find it really cool that this brown shade looks grey when paired up with pink. Yet with the gold, it looks properly brown.
On my lips I'm using Gosh Long Lasting Lip Marker in Berry and Gosh On Stage Cool Lip Jam. Told you I love it! :)
Which palette do you think I should use next?

Are You Getting Tired of I'm Getting Sunburned Yet?
Hello Lovely Readers,
I could, I really could just make one post out of all 7 looks for my 7 day palette challenge, but I can't bring myself to do it. I like showing photos, and for that I need a separate post for every look. I hope you can forgive me. :)
This time I also used all 3 shades, with the darkest one being just an accent.
Now check out how good Posietint looks on me :) I'm in LUV with it.
I am also in love with the combination I have on my lips, Gosh Long Lasting Lip Marker in Berry and Gosh On Stage Cool Lip Jam. I even wore it 2 days in a row, and I see myself wearing it again and again when I want a bright statement lip.
What do you think? Have you tried any of the stuff I used?
